About The Author
Karena Krull, the author of “Drama Made Easy: A Step By Step Handbook For Producing Skits And Plays” and the various Christian skits and plays on this site, became enamored with drama at age twelve while she watched her three older siblings perform in a High School production of “My Fair Lady’.
Attending Joffrey ballet performances and watching broadway musicals with her mother continued to deepen her interest in theatre. While in High School she became involved in Children’s Theater performing at several elementary schools in the Seattle area.
In the 1980’s Karena wrote various humorous skits for events and women’s retreats at Grace Baptist church, in Seattle. She co-wrote, produced and published the full length play adaptation of “In His Steps” by Charles Sheldon. She also contributed original drama scenes to the musical scores of various Christmas and Easter Cantatas at the church.
In 1994, Karena authored “Drama Made Easy: A Step by Step Handbook for Producing Skits and Plays” to further the academic and social benefits of drama for Home School and Churches. The easy to use format helps enable those just starting out in drama productions to succeed as well those experienced in the field of drama.
Karena Krull co-authored and co-produced of the English vocabulary building card games “Rummy Roots” and “More Roots”. She has written various Christian songs . Karena has three grown children, four grandsons and currently resides in Spokane, Washington with her husband of 41 years.
